With achievement of 21 medals consisting of 8 Gold Medals, 3 Silver Medals and 10 Bronze Medals, the pupil team of Tân Phú Junior High School – Senior High School has won Prize 3 of entire group at Festival of pupil swimming – HoChiMinh City in the 4th time of 2011, held by Department of Education & Training in coordination with HCMC League of water sports.
Taking place from 20 October to 20 November 2011, the HCMC Festival of pupil swimming in the 4th time of 2011 with 5 items including freestyle swimming, breast-stroke swimming, back-stroke swimming, butterfly swimming and free strength swimming, drawing nearly 200 schools to participate in. The Tan Phu Secondary and High School had 21 pupils participating in and these 21 pupils all winning medals. Especially, pupil Phan Vo Tue Nhan – Class 7 won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Silver Medals; pupil Tran Gia Loc – Class 8 won 1 Gold Medal and 1 Silver Medal; pupil Pham Dang Tin – Class 8 won 1 Gold Medal and 1 Bronze Medal.
